Safety Signs

At Tech We learnt about safety signs, What they mean and what do they do.

Hazard Sign

Hazard signs have a black border around the object nearby that can cause harm to you. For example this harzard sign has a drill, Drills can commonly be found in construction sites and workshops, the can cause harm in lots of ways such as drilling yourself, battery leak and drill overheating.
You can avoid these harms by carefully inspecting the drill.

Mandatory Sign

Mandatory Signs are really important as keep you safe and get you ready for a certain task. Mandatory signs are the one with the blue circle and a white background showing what you need to get prepared. This Mandatory sign is important for our school technology class, as you need a pen, pencil and a ruler. When you have these the teachers know your ready to learn and also you'll need these for the workshop to mark certain objects.

Prohibited Sign

A prohibited sign is probably one of the most important signs, as they mean do not do a certain action or else a fatal harmful accident may occur as the sign as a bold red circle with a line through the action you should not do. As long you obey this sign you'll have no risk of having any fatal injuries. In the workshop we're not allowed to run because of the machines, not running into them well that can be one of the fatal injuries that can happen but the most fatal one is tripping over. Here in the workshop we have lots of machines and hard objects anywhere we go, so if you trip over you'll have a high chance of getting a really harmful injury.

This is a example video of what happens when you follow the rules
